I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading!
How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book!
When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.

So what's shakin'?

  • Sorting, packing and cleaning... and more cleaning, packing and sorting. :P
  • Working at my questionable job (more on that in a minute)
  • I need a haircut. Seriously. It's out of control. Last one was in January.
  • Been taking a break from Everquest 2 and playing Xbox 360 when I feel the urge to game. Been hanging out on Catan and Puzzle Quest, but not online cause that costs dollars. :P
  • I finished Breaking Dawn (Thanks Linda and Mike!!). Won't say too much here (spoilers and all that) but I will say that I was pretty floored, kinda miffed, and sad to finish it (which to me is a sign of a good book).

As far as my job goes, I'm not going to rant on it too much. Basically I got sent home for insubordination because I told my boss that she was wrong and she didn't like it. Then I got called into the office the next day and placed on a 3 day suspension for 3 things, 2 of which that weren't even related to the reason I got sent home in the first place. Yeah I was mad. But I've just dealt with it and am living with knowing that I only have a little bit more time there and then I'm gone. If it wasn't for the residents, who are really outstanding, I'd have just left I think. But I like working with them. :)

So what did I do on my 3 day 'forced vacation'? I hung out with Rob a bunch, took a trip down to Martha's just to hang out with her and the kidlets (omg we went to Wal-Mart! Woot! Martha got to talk to customer support all the way in India for a WHOLE HOUR! /jealous) and then I drove home in the tropical storm Hanna downpour.

To sum it all up:

See you next time!

<3 Amy

It's spring fever.
That is what the name of it is.
And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!
