I declare after all there is no enjoyment like reading!
How much sooner one tires of anything than of a book!
When I have a house of my own, I shall be miserable if I have not an excellent library.

If 2 out of 5 cows are laying down that means a 40% chance of rain

Ahh Maine meteorology, how I'll miss you. Only in Maine does the number of cows lying in a field as opposed to standing determine the oncoming weather. And in Maine if you don't like the weather, wait 5 minutes and it's bound to change.

About a 33 percent chance here.

What else will I miss about Maine? Too many things to list them all. Mostly the fall colors, summer corn and blueberries, the ice cream stand by the lake, the massive amount of trees... the list goes on and on. Heck I might even miss the snow... probably not though.

We'll be leaving on Friday. Off to a new state and new surroundings. I'll try to keep my blog, or at least my myspace updated along the way. :)

It's been a long time...

Wow... okay... so I haven't posted here since last year! It seems like I've gone 10,000 miles down the road of life since my last detailed post. Let's see if I can't get all of you up to speed on what's been going on.

The first thing is that I'm still in Maine with Rob. We tried to move to Washington in the fall but it wasn't in the cards, and then it snowed. :P So now the new plan is to move in the Spring. What it basically boiled down to was that we couldn't get the house sold. It is now sold though, so good news there. We have until May 1st to get all our ducks in a row.

The next major thing that happened is I left my old job and started a new job with T-Mobile. Sunday will begin my last week of training and so far I like it. I handle incoming customer care calls, everything from billing to tech care. T-Mobile is the most organized company I've worked for since moving to Maine and leaving Borders. The pay is outstanding and the benefits are many. For now I'm happy and feel as if I finally have a good job, hopefully I'll be able to get something comparable when we move.

I started playing World of Warcraft again with Rob and our good friends. We even picked up an old friend along the way. :)

I finally got a haircut! :P After going nearly a year without one because I never felt is was a justified expense, I got one with my first paycheck from T-Mobile. Not a major thing for most people, but for me it was wonderful.

Overall 2008 was an interesting year, but ended on a good note.

It's spring fever.
That is what the name of it is.
And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!
