Livid...

I am so freaking mad at my job right now! Argh, I could spit!

So I'm supposed to be on day shifts now. I was told that I was only going to be scheduled for day shifts from now on...

I get to work tonight to find out that they have fired 2 of the overnight girls and I'm now scheduled for a 12 hour shift on Wednesday and an overnight shift on Friday. /boggle /flare

Not going to happen. They can't just change my schedule on a moment's notice without even asking me if I'm able to work those shifts. It's rude! I have a life outside of work too.

Well not only that, but the schedule that was posted over a week ago, that showed me working day shifts only, now shows me working 5 day shifts AND 5 overnight shifts...

I am not playing this game!

I wrote a letter to my boss at work tonight telling her that I will not work anymore night shifts. I told her that I am especially not working overnights AND days, going back and forth like that is not healthy. On top of all this, anticipating that I would only be working days from now on, my BF took a job working in the evenings and we only have one car.

So I know what will happen here. They'll tell me that it's policy that the schedule can change w/o notice at any time and that I have to find my own coverage for the shifts I can't work and blah blah blah... and I'll have no choice but to call out. So I'll end up fired or just broke as hell.

Time to get the classified ads and look for a new job...
